Dear Mother Earth,

Lots of people don't understand just how much of a difference little things -- like recycling or turning off lights -- can make, including me. However, this is my promise: I promise to start noticing the little things I can do to save you. I've been trying to make a big effort lately to recycle as many things as possible, turn off the lights (or any electrical appliance for that matter) when I exit a room or don't need it, and take shorter showers to conserve water. I will spread the word as much as possible to as many people as I can to watch what they can do. Without you, this Earth would be a barren land. Nothing would survive, not even humans or animals. We need you to survive. I, among others, am going to keep you around as long as I possibly can.
